Bruschetta by me...

You will need French roll, Mushrooms, Garlic & Shallot, assiago cheese, Asparagus, Balsamic vinegar & White wine


Cut your bread into thick slices


Brush on olive oil- both sides


Shred your cheese and sprinkle it on top of your bread.
Then put your bread into the oven on low broil. Toast both sides until a nice golden color.


While your bread is broiling, Saute Onion, Garlic and your Mushrooms in butter.


Blanch your asparagus and then throw into your mushrooms and cook everything together with a tsp of White Wine.


Once your shrooms are nice and sauteed, add a tablespoon of Balsamic vinegar, let simmer for a minute or two.


then serve over your bread

A childhood memory

I don't know if I ever told you this.......
I was talking to Rich last night, and I had a childhood flashback. Do you remember when you got me David Hassellhof's autograph and a photo of him as knight rider? I do, And I also remember for about a month, I had that photo in my Little schoolbook. I told everyone I knew that it was a photo of my Dad, yep, my Dad was the knight Rider. uh-huh, I had the Picture to prove it......



I was pretty creative eh....

Well I'm thinking its gonna be another lazy Sunday- I got season two of Big Love!!

Sunday

or should I say Lazyday. What did I do you ask. Nothing.

No really, nothing. I did not get out of my PJ's all day, no shower,I can count on one hand the times I got up off the couch.....
1. to refill my coffee, which I must do. Its a cream measurement thing.
2. to pee
3. to let sasa out to pee
4. to pee
5. to change my lost DVD

Rich made bfast so I didn't get up for that, served 'in couch' then he made lunch, again, no movement required.
It was a PIG out day too
Breakfast- French toast, eggs, our version of hash browns and lots of syrup.
Lunch- Grilled Cheese & Soup
We watched the entire first season of lost, a few naps, we had Pizza delivered for Dinner, Rich answered the door so again, no getting up there. And I dozed off around 8pm. Oh yeah, I guess at some point I got off my a$$ to go upstairs to bed, Sasha in tow.

Why you ask, because I could, and I loved every minute of it.

Today, back to the grind..........and I showered!

my anti Valentines playlist.....

so I thought Id try to create my own musical compilation of love songs in the spirit. I quickly realized I probably should be on some sort of anti depressant- musically speaking that is. You see, I seem to be very taken by tragic love loss songs,very moving. But not quite appropriate for the V day. So I give to you....my Anti love songs.Not that I don't love, or appreciate happy go lucky love songs......these are just better,in a slit your wrist sort of way....... but please appreciate the music, it is some of my favorite.
