the house will be miiiine...tomorrow....

betcha bottom that tomorrooooow, there'll be a mortgage payment.
Today was the final walk thru. We walked thru, and then thru again. My Real estate agent is Cynthia, and we love her to death. Very cool chick, a Cali girl, so we connect on a higher level, ya know. So after a while we started to notice she is leaning on walls, smiling, but leaning. We decide for her sanity, we should go. We want her well rested for Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya, Tomorrow, its only a daaaay aaaa waaaay!!
( Mom your check is in the mail) HA! no really it is.
So we will be moving, beginning tomorrow, to our home, OUR home. WOW, I bought a f'ing house in Connecticut. Hold on I feel dizzy.....People do this every day right, buy houses. No big deal right???
No, I'm really excited. Only a few things we need to be perfect.
#1. Washing machine and Dryer. We will be at the good ol' corner laundromat for a while....how gross. Unless.......mom, house warming?? kidding!!..........?????
#2. A Fence. Rich will attempt to wear a new hat and build one. I am taking bets now on how long we go before hiring a professional. So far 1 day and 1 week are taken.
#3. Paint the Bathroom's. Bathroom 2, which is on the 2nd floor, and the smaller of the two is going to be a Robins egg blue/ teal/restoration hardware type of color. Bathroom 1 I haven't decided. Suggestions are welcome.
#4 and final. Kitchen color. Again I am stumped.

Now here is where the madness begins, I no longer obsess about buying cloths, or handbags. Now it is paint colors. SICK!
I am already missing my neighbors. We have a kid down the street that loves Rich, the tattoo guy from CA. He came over tonight and said his parents offered their station wagon for us to move in...how freaking nice. We have had an overwhelming amount of help offerings, I'm trying not to take it personally, I think we were good neighbors, they don't want us gone that bad right?? Ha! No really.....great people! I only hope our new hood is comparable.

So every time I put Owen back in his cage, as I close the door and lock it, he snaps at me. He reaches over and bites me, and the past few times he has gotten me good. Well tonight, I put him in.......he reached out to try to get me quickly as I locked the door, and he lost his balance and fell off of his perch on to the floor of his cage........I laughed so hard. Funniest thing ever!! I wish I could have caught it on tape.

A- Ambitious. not sure if that really is a good word, or if it describes me. but I like it, I want to be ambitious. Successful people are ambitious.
N- Nerd. I am a goof, I love Art, and reading, and watching PBS. I also listen to NPR. So I am called a Nerd.....not a smart kind of Nerd, just a Nerd.
N- This is for Rich- Never Home. =) What can I say. I love my job, I love to be there, maybe its because I'm neurotic??
