Ike has a new friend. Its twice his size and so funny to watch him try to drag it around the house. Especially down the stairs...hell try to pull it down and it will tumble, he thinks its moving on its own, so hell attack it once it gets to the bottom of the stairs and spend an hour standing there waiting for it to move on its own again.

what a preciously dumb dog!

And my sasa.....again....love doesn't begin to express it.

a house finch. We have tons of them now

we bought a heated bird bath, rich is going to put it up today....Birds are supposed to LOVE them....my bird watching book ( GEEK!!!) says that if you have one you will attract 2x as many birds. Water is super important to them during the winter. They need it not only to drink but to bathe....so we will soon see!

my where were you moment......

I have to admit, I never thought it would happen. That I would be so compelled by a single event that I would forever remember where I was. A Historical moment that I will never forget......that I have waited anxiously for....it has been over a year....I have counted the days.....hoping..
I also am humbled by the many who like me waited and watched with anticipation...all with baited breath for the very moment....a historical event.....

what did you think I was talking about?

a tufted titmouse

have you ever.....??!!

for Glenni

So I admit....when we first moved to New England...I....emphasis on the I not we.....loved it here. I couldn't wait to experience snow, I waited and waited for the first snow fall, and ran out to see it and I spun around catching the tiny, cold flakes on my tongue. I loved New England........

But now...........I have awaken to find I live in hell. Most people think hell will be a hot place, fire and brimstone.......you are wrong. Its cold here in hell. freezing....7* to be precise. Here are some pictures....

take a close look at the window...see how you cant see thru...that's because there is a layer of ice over it...along with the rest of the car....covered.

they have shovels in hell.......everywhere.

and the other half of we...the half that never loved it.....the one stuck shoveling in 7* weather...while hell dumps more ice cold snow on him...ohh poor Richard.
I love him.

.....continued

Moving to CT has also brought out the inner bird watcher in me. I'm telling you, I can sit for hours and watch all of the new birds that come to my feeders.
For instance these guys....they are starlings. Cute huh.....I was so excited the first time they started coming around. There are 7 of them that visit daily.

And this guy is new today, he is a yellow shafted guilded flicker/ or woodpecker type. You may have to click on the picture to see him, but he is very cool...right....amazing...

except for the bastard Starlings, they are aggressive little f***ers and they are chasing him away. f**kers!!
And finally, I am trying to do the 365 thing.....I am going to find 1 thing I love about my sasa, and show you daily.....fun for you!!!!!!

I love kissing this mouth!!
